Chongqing, May 10 /Xin Hua/ — Two people died, six were injured as a result of a road traffic accident (RTA) that occurred in the city of Chongqing (Southwest China) on Sunday, the municipal public security bureau reported.

The incident occurred around 13:40 on Sunday. A 57-year-old female driver surnamed He lost control at an intersection in the Qianjiang area of Chongqing city, which led to a collision of the car with other vehicles and pedestrians. As a result of the accident, two people died and six others were injured.
