Press release – New Eurobarometer survey: media briefing on Tuesday at 10:00

Accredited journalists are invited to an embargoed briefing on the results of a new survey on the publicâs view of the EU and its priorities.

WHEN: Tuesday 30 June 2026 at 10:00

WHERE: Anna Politkovskaya press conference room, at the European Parliament in Brussels (SPAAK building, room 0A50) and via Interactio.

On 30 June, Delphine Colard, the European Parliamentâs spokesperson, will present the main findings of the new Eurobarometer survey to the media. All information in the briefing will be under embargo until the survey is published the following morning, Wednesday 1 July, at 07.00.

The Spring Eurobarometer explores the of EU citizensâ perception of their future and their expectations of the EU. It covers a range of issues, including the role of the EU in the current global context and in protecting Europeans, key citizen priorities and values, and the opinion of people about the European Parliament, the EU and EU membership.

The full results of Parliamentâs Eurobarometer survey (including all national data sets) will be published on the Eurobarometer website on Wednesday 1 July 2026 at 07:00. The interviews were conducted by research agency Verian between 9 April and 4 May 2026 in all 27 EU member states.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Interpretation will be available in English and French.

Please note that as the data will remain under embargo until the following day, public streaming will not be provided.
