Finding information on maritime projects across Europe has just become much easier.
Today, CINEA launched a new online dashboard bringing together key information on European maritime projects in one place.
The dashboard is a comprehensive one-stop shop, which already features more than 1,100 maritime projects, representing nearly €4 billion in funding. The projects cover a wide range of topics, from fisheries, water sports and coastal resilience to social innovation, ocean literacy and maritime transport. The data spans projects dating back to 2008.
The dashboard includes projects funded under several European programmes, such as the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF), LIFE, the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), Interreg, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+. It also brings together projects supported through national funding schemes.
Designed with users in mind, the dashboard presents essential information in a clear and accessible format. Visitors can explore projects through interactive maps, thematic categories, funding data and beneficiary information. Each project entry also includes details such as a description, project partners, duration and budget.
Work-in-progress for data collection
The collection and validation of data remain ongoing. At this stage, only projects with an identified project number comes from European Commission‘ sources.
