AMLA Chair Bruna Szego delivered a keynote address at the ACAMS Germany 10th Anniversary event, hosted at the Italian Embassy in Berlin on 6 May 2025. Speaking to compliance professionals, policymakers and law enforcement representatives, Szego outlined AMLA's role in shaping the future of AML/CFT in Europe.
She framed financial crime as a strategic risk in the current geopolitical environment and emphasised the need for a shift from fragmented national approaches to an integrated European system. The Chair congratulated ACAMS Germany on a decade of commitment to the AML/CFT community.
